How to buy and sell tokens on Little John

Read a Little John trade quote: token amounts, ETH, fees, slippage, gas and transaction confirmation.

Buying

  1. Open the correct token page and verify its full contract address.
  2. Connect your wallet and select Buy. Enter an ETH amount while leaving enough for gas.
  3. Choose Review buy. Compare the expected tokens, minimum received, fees and quote validity.
  4. Confirm in your wallet only if the account, network and transaction match your intent. Wait for the receipt.

Selling

  1. Select Sell and choose a token amount that your wallet holds.
  2. Review expected ETH, the minimum received and all fees.
  3. Your wallet may request a token approval before the sale. Read the spending permission as a separate transaction.
  4. Confirm the sale and check its receipt. A quote alone is not proof that a sale completed.

Why the buy and sell values differ

Trading fees apply on both sides. Gas is also paid for network execution. Price changes, curve movement and slippage can affect proceeds. Spending 0.05 ETH does not mean a later sale returns 0.05 ETH, even if there are no intervening trades. Additional creator tax may apply to the particular token.

Quotes and confirmation

The review currently shows a two-minute quote validity and 0.5% slippage tolerance. Always use the values shown for your actual trade. If a quote expires, obtain a new one. RC19 refreshes relevant application data after a confirmed transaction; indexing and external wallet displays may update later.
